SOL FOOD is a bi-monthly series detailing all the people, places, spaces, reads, objects, and foods that are inspiring, supporting, and fueling my journey at the moment. This short + sweet series was created in response to the enormous list of topics I never get the chance to post about and share with you all. Stop by every other Friday for a quick dose of inspiration and sol food.
Since beginning kundalini meditation sessions with Desiree of Benshen at the end of 2016, I have never (ever) felt better. This girl is a real deal healer + guide, bringing the transformative, cosmic teachings of kundalini yoga down to earth for applied use. The shifts I've experienced since committing to this practice (in mind, body, relationships, and career) have been nothing short of miraculous. If you've been feeling blocked, I highly recommend booking a session.
I know I've mentioned it a few times already, but this book has been bringing a whole new life + energy to my kitchen as of late.
This mask has been a complete game changer, leaving my skin noticeably clearer, softer, and glowier.
Excited to dive into this book.
I've been eating this by the spoonful to keep my energy + moods elevated and anxiety at bay.
Heading to NYC in a few weeks and so far on my list of must try's: like five different lattes from The End, neurologist-designed meals for better brain function at Honeybrains, plant based pizza at Matthew Kenney's Double Zero Pizza, and a high vibe sweat at TT's new Tribeca spot. Of course, revisiting a few of my favorites: Sky Ting for the city's best yoga, Springbone for my broth fix, chocolate + salt (aka the essentials) at The Meadow, and Juice Press because it's my happy place.
I am beyond excited to be hosting a workshop at the sacred space that is Haute Yoga. If you'll be in South Florida on March 5th, join me for sweaty afternoon of mind-body detox work. Details and sign up here.
